today is our 6th wedding anniversary! what an awesome 6 years it's been. i can't believe it all started with a handshake at a locker freshman year. i can't imagine a better life, or a better husband and father. i am one lucky gal. we went out for a late lunch / early dinner (linner ;)) at a hibachi. the kids loved it. we haven't been since kayleigh's third birthday.

i accidentally left my 50mm on my camera, so i couldn't really get any pictures, there just wasn't enough room. norah's favorite was definitely the soup ...

can you guess what the big kids liked the best?

valentine pictures were a joke. norah was MISERABLE, i just wan't ready, the kids were biting their lollies before i was ready.... so will try again tomorrow, lol. see how norah's arms are down? yeah, john was holding them, lol. he let go and she jumped up and ran.

today the big kids and a couple of their friends that were over made rainbow crayons. since we're moving the week of valentine's day, i'm trying to get the gift bags out of the way now.

sucks the focus fell on the cooling rack. i think i'll try in manual focus & see what happens.

the littlest suchniak was sick for a couple days, but she's back in full swing today. she did not want out of the sling yesterday for anything. this was on the way to the bus stop.


i did eventually get her to snooze on the couch for a bit, it was very short lived, though. sick babies are so sad. i'm so glad she's well today!

our new house is almost a mile from the school. i don't know that we'll be using the sled so often once we're there, lol.

i finally took norah's 12 month onesie pictures yesterday. talk about putting it off (denial??). it was so fun making them. i wish i had done it with kayleigh and ethan too. all 12 months are in my picasa albums.

wow day 99 - tomorrow is the big 100! i can't believe i've been keeping up so well!

today was a gray (grey?) day. there was a light dusting of snow that make all the trees look white. almost fake!

we went over to the outlet mall to return a couple things. it was just hazy everywhere. and about 18 degrees. a big difference in the near 70 degree temps we had last week!

yesday was laundry day! i have no idea how we generate this much laundry not including towels or sheets. and this was with john off work all week, too. so only one set of clothes a day. john was super awesome & put it all away after i folded it.

although, the big kids put away all their non-hanging stuff (socks, undies, pj', pants). i'm trying to find a few more chores at their level to make things a little less hectic.

this one just made me giggle. :)

my mother-in-law left today (actually john is at the airport as i type this). it was a fun week. today we went out for breakfast (my most FAVORITE meal to eat out). it was great. the kids even got balloons.



we went & signed the last of the paperwork this afternoon, so many of you will be getting address change postcards from us in the near future! i just have to make some up. fun stuff. i am thinking this move won't be as hard as the last since there is actually storage space and it's only 15 minutes from here.

busy day! we went to the children's museum, LODO, and ice skating at southlands.

norah's been really shy around my mil. she's been literally attached to my leg this week. she's also working on two more teeth, so that may have something to do with it.

yesterday norah openend a birthday gift from my mom. it was a cute little wooden melissa & doug dollhouse. she loves it, and has been playing with it all morning today!


and this one is just goofy. we have snow on the ground, but it was almost 60 yesterday. and yeah, my baby looks homeless all mismatched and wearing ethan's glasses, lol.

soooo ... norah's cake smash didn't turn out as i'd hoped. the light was not in my favor, but she had a blast, so i'll share these anyway. :)

i'm having a heck of a time with the seamless paper in this house. even using the tiny 54" rolls, i just don't have enough room in my house to fit it in, and get the lighting right! norah was pretty much right up against the background (big no-no).

norah's birthday is next sunday! i cannot believe it. it is literally shocking to me. here are the two diapers i had made for her birthday pics. we're doing a "smash cake" tuesday, and she'll wear the "sprinkles" one.

today we went to look at a house (as we've been doing waaay too often the past two weeks). we're moving (hopefully) in a month! it's just really hard without a yard for the kids (and ME!). this will also be the first time we are not sharing a wall with someone else since john & i got married! i grew up in a single home, so it took some getting used to to hearing my neighbors doing karaoke every friday night in our last house.

this house is as close to perfect as we're going to get, i think. it's only 3 bedrooms, but has a finished basement, a two car garage, and more storage in a separate room in the basement. it is within walking distance from the elementary school (another high ranking factor), and there is a community pool, fitness center, and it's located on a golf course.

OH! and we'll have our very own MAILBOX!! no more cluster boxes!!

it has GREAT lighting (one of the first things we looked at with each house). after living in a cave a few years ago, we realized how important great natural light is.
