we went up to jockey's ridge to tkae some pictures and climb the dunes. the kids didn't want to take pictures, lol .... but they had fun climbing!

our first day on the beach! i'm not a beach girl at all, can't stand the heat or the sand, but i stuck it out for the kids & we actually had a lot of fun. i was begging them to go back. :D

we finally met my parent's new puppy, clancy. the kids were terrified at first, lol, but by day two kayleigh told me she liked clancy better than norah. :-O

whew. i have a lot to go through. i already uploaded the pics from north carolina, i just need to go through the posts and add text. most are snapshots, and most have only been cropped/resized/sharpened for web. a couple i had to mess with a little bit because the looked BAD, lol.

all in all it was a good trip. the kids were great on both flights, and really enjoyed the beach and swimming! it was so nice to see my mom & family again after almost a year! i just wish john could have gone, it would have been the icing on the cake!

i am not sure if/which pictures will be clickable to see bigger. i'll probably check & fix the ones that aren't tomorrow. :)

gettin' there! the kids and i are leaving for 9 days, and i have been packing for almost a week now! we fly out friday afternoon and will be back ... well, 9 days later! i'm trying to pack lightly, but can't help to think i might need to bring an extra bag for traveling back, lol!

we will not have intenet access while we're away, so i will have a whole lot of catching up to do here the first week of june! tomorrow will be the last day i can post for a while.

i have a graduate! she's officially a first grader! how crazy is that? i still feel like i'm a little kid myself. so proud of kayleigh, she's done so well this year. my little smartie pants. :)

norah was just concerned during the ceremony with the dandelions and the goodies she snagged that kayleigh's teacher was going to throw away, lol! (ethan was almost asleep, lol!)

so exciting, huh? lol! i was going to take some pictures with my bee yesterday, but i couldn't find this stinking little piece that i can't live without, lol. so this was the only picture on my camera yesterday. i hope you enjoy it as much as i do - ha!
