well! what an experience the whole tree cutting down thing was. the kids got snow in their boots, cried most of the way, all the trees were oddly shaped or really puny ... but we got a tree. not the most beautiful tree in world, but one that would make charlie brown proud!

it's that time of year! ups is loving us! most of this is from my family, lol. one day i'm going to need an actual hiding spot. the kids aren't going to be this clueless much longer!

kayleigh has not come back into our bed since she moved out at two. even when she was sick, she wanted nothing to do with it. we've tried many times when family was in town visiting, but still - she likes her space.

last night she woke up hysterical screaming & crying telling me there was a big green monster biting her feet under her covers. john convinced her to sleep in our room after us reassuring her there was nothing under there wasn't enough.

i woke up to this. :)

we got our first real snow yesterday - woohoo! too bad john had to work. shifts stinks!

the least i could do, lol.

john called from work & woke me at 5am and told me our neighbor's water broke. so, their 2 year old came over to play for the day so dad could go help out mom in the hospital, and he's now a big brother to a new baby girl!

anyway, this was the only picture i took all day, and out of courtesy i don't want to post pictures of their son on my blog .... so this is it for the day, and it won't click to enlarge.
